There are four different room types depending on your needs, but they all are comfortable, private, with superb ocean views.

 

The Catamaran Hotel is an ideal place for guests seeking not only comfort but an escape, with a degree of tranquillity. The service is personal, with a lot of very friendly smiles and a willingness to accommodate your needs. Hospitable is a very good word to describe the Catamaran Hotel. You will be made to feel like a VIP, and that is the real magic of a holiday in a privately owned small hotel, and is definitely something you never get in a big chain.

You can enjoy an affordable family vacation on Antigua by booking the Dickenson Bay Cottages. It is a small self catering hotel with13 lovely accommodations on a hill above Dickenson Bay. At an average rate throughout the year of around USD140, it isn’t only affordable, it is quite frankly a bargain for what you get for your money, which by the way averages a little under USD140..

 

Because it is on a hill, that does mean a five minute hike down to the beach, but that is a small price to pay for what is an ideal spot for a family vacation in Antigua. If an Antigua All Inclusive Resort is something you haven’t tried before, and you like the idea of all inclusive, but are a little concerned about wearing plastic bangles, and being jollied along in a an activity camp like atmosphere, with everyone mucking in together, then you can rest assured that Cocos Hotel is absolutely nothing like that.

 

Cocos Hotel is a lovely Antigua all inclusive resort, very small and intimate with only 26 individual suites. It came about because a Caribbean Hotelier kept hearing guests complain that there wasn’t a genuine old fashioned Caribbean style hotel to be found anywhere anymore, so he created one in Cocos Hotel.

 

This is a lovely beach front location with the hotel situated on a small hill between two beautiful half mile long white sand beaches. The suites sit on the hill cooled by the sea breezes and overlook the sea, the restaurant, and the pool.

 

The suites come as either Standard Cottages close to the beach, Superior Cottages which are further up the hill with better views, and Premium Cottages which are at the top of the hill wit the best sea views of all. They all have king size beds, outside showers, large balconies with uninterrupted views, and all have hammocks to give the ultimate in relaxation. There is no airconditioning because the sea breezes and the ceiling fans are more than enough.

 

All inclusive resort food can be less than outstanding, but this isn’t the case ..............

As an affordable vacation, the self catering holiday accommodation tends to be the cheapest for obvious reasons, but it isn’t often that you get the quality as you do at Yepton Estate Cottages st John’s in Antigua. The cottages sit around a central swimming pool, and are split into two basic types. Firstly there are Studio Cottages suitable for two people with a fully equipped kitchenette, in fact probably better equipped than the one you have at home, a dining living area, and a very large king size bed. It could best be described as a lively resort , that can be enjoyed not only as a beach family resort, but also by couples. It has a huge range of accommodation and a number of food options including an all inclusive.

It has 20 rooms so it is small enough to call itself a boutique hotel, and it certainly sets out to be an exclusive hotel.
