Blue Waters describes itself as a luxury privately owned Caribbean Hotel with 67 spacious rooms, 32 suites, 3 villas, and 4 penthouses, sitting on 14 acres of tropical garden, and what it offers for your Antigua Holiday is as follows.

There are two secluded beaches, and three freshwater pools and a Jacuzzi, one of the pools being an adults only pool. There is the Palm Al Fresco Restaurant, Vyviens A La Carte restaurant, then the Pelican Cocktail Bar, a Pool Bar, and a Beach Bar.

Guests have the use of an all weather tennis court, and an air conditioned gymnasium, plus sailing, windsurfing, kayaks, hobie Cats, and snorkelling equipment. All of the previously mentioned is part of the all inclusive package with the exception of the A La Carte restaurant.

If you want to go waterskiing, play golf, go deep sea fishing, horse riding, para sailing, then whilst this can be arranged by Blue Waters, these carry a charge.

Blue Waters Resort Antigua, Antigua all inclusive resort, Antigua Holiday, Antigua HotelThe first impression you get of Blue Waters, and first impressions are all important, is that the entrance lobby is very elegant, with a view of the turquoise water in the bay down below. Even check in complete with rum punch is relaxing.

The Blue Waters resort has a very personal feel to it, and you will feel well pampered by the attention from the staff. The grounds are well maintained and the facilities are well up to par for a top luxury hotel. There is plenty of choice when it comes to food, even if you are a fussy eater, and because of the variety you won’t get bored with it on this particular Antigua Holiday.

The beaches are lovely, quite small, but never overcrowded, partly because of the three swimming pools.

The overall atmosphere at Blue Waters is one of peace and tranquillity, and part of that is that no-one is ever in a rush. This might mean the service is a bit slow, but this is the Caribbean, and you are supposed to be on your Antigua holiday, so there should be nothing to rush for!

Another nice touch at Blue Waters is the visibility of the management team. You will stay in many resorts where you never see top management, but the Manager will be seen, and is contactable, even the Deputy manager will call to check you are happy. It is small touches like this that makes the difference between a good Antigua Holiday and a great one.

All in all Blue Waters Antigua ticks most of the boxes you need for a great Antigua Holiday, and would be a great choice for families, although you will find it a very popular destination for Caribbean Weddings as well.
